MPG 321URXW arrives as MSI's newest gaming monitor with fetching white finish
MSI has introduced a new version of its MPG 321URX monitor in China. To recap, the MPG 321URX (curr. $949.99 on Amazon) is one of many 32-inch gaming monitors that utilise Gen 3 QD-OLED panels sourced from Samsung Display. Specifically, the MPG 321URX has been available globally since February, although it was showcased a month earlier at CES 2024 in Las Vegas.
Since then, MSI has offered up various other new QD-OLED backed monitors, including the MPG 491CQPX in August. This time though, it appears to have merely given the MPG 321URX a lick of paint and called it a day. In short, the new MPG 321URXW maintains the core functionality of the existing MPG 321URX.
For example, it combines a 4K resolution with a 240 Hz refresh rate while delivering up to 0.03 ms GtG response times but only 250 nits full panel brightness. Moreover, the MPG 321URXW boasts 97% AdobeRGB colour space coverage, Adaptive-Sync support and MSI's OLED Care 2.0 technology to mitigate image burn-in.
Likewise, MSI includes ports like HDMI 2.1 and USB Type-C, the latter of which can keep a laptop charging at 90 W. Ultimately, it seems that the MPG 321URXW adds to the MPG 321URX with a white colour option, which its name supports. As it stands, the MPG 321URXW is only official in China; there is no word yet on whether it will be available internationally.
