MSI MPG 325CQRXF: New 31.5-inch 2K gaming monitor features 280Hz refresh rate and 127% sRGB coverage

Back in November 2024, we covered the launch of the MSI MAG 325CQRXF E2 gaming monitor with 240Hz refresh rate. Now, the company has launched the MPG 325CQRXF - a part of their MSI Performance Gaming lineup (hence the MPG moniker). The two aforementioned monitors share most of their features, but there are some notable upgrades over the older model.

The MPG 325CQRXF is a 31.5-inch curved gaming monitor featuring a Rapid VA panel with a 1000R curvature. It supports 2560 x 1440 resolution and offers an ultra-fast 280Hz refresh rate. The 0.5ms (GtG) response time should deliver crisp visuals even during high-speed sequences.

This monitor supports VESA DisplayHDR 400 for upgraded contrast and brightness. Color accuracy is another highlight, with coverage of 96% DCI-P3 and 127% sRGB, which makes it suitable for immersive gaming and content creation. The monitor is also equipped with Adaptive-Sync technology.

Connectivity options are pretty extensive, with 2 HDMI 2.0 ports, 1 DisplayPort 1.4, and 1 USB Type-C port with 15W Power Delivery. Additionally, the monitor has 2 USB 2.0 Type-A ports, a headphone jack, and an internal power supply for streamlined cable management. Ergonomics are addressed with tilt, height, and swivel adjustments, along with a frameless design for multi-monitor setups.

MSI has also included 'AI Vision' to step up visuals by optimizing brightness and color saturation using AI-driven algorithms, while MSI Gaming Intelligence introduces a set of smart settings. Firmware updates are accessible through the USB connection. Weighing 8.1kg (17.8 lbs) with its stand, the MPG 325CQRXF is a robust addition to MSI’s gaming lineup.
