MSI is one of the more well-known manufacturers of monitors, and its recently introduced MPG 322URX model is clearly aimed at video gamers. Information on price or availability is lacking, as the model can only be currently found on the company's Chinese website in the form of a product page.
MSI advertises DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR20 compatibility, which supports a data transfer rate of 80 GBit/s, but no tangible advantages are mentioned in this regard. The monitor can also receive image signals via two HDMI 2.1 ports and one USB-C port, with the latter also allowing up to 98 watts to be output a connected image source. A USB hub with two USB 3.2 A ports is also available, and a PC that is not connected via USB-C can be connected via a USB-B port.
The 31.5-inch QD OLED comes with a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 and a maximum specified brightness of 1,000 cd/m², but this only applies when illuminating 3% of the screen (APL); the typical brightness is given as 250 cd/m². The high refresh rate of 240 Hz can also be utilized via HDMI 2.1, and MSI specifies the gray-to-gray response time at 0.03 milliseconds. Ergonomic functions are available, allowing the monitor to be tilted, rotated and adjusted in height.
Those not willing to wait are advised to take a look at the predecessor model, the MSI MPG321UR, which is still a solid alternative.
