British developer Rocksteady is best known for the award-winning Batman trilogy games Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and Arkham Knight. The announcement of looter-shooter Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League came as a surprise, and the co-op game was far from well received by critics and the gaming community when it was released in early February 2024.
The live service game has already been offered twice on Steam with an 80% discount at a price of $13.99. But until 4 December this year, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is available with a whopping 95 per cent discount for $3.49. This is the lowest price ever for the controversial triple-A game. The Deluxe Edition is currently priced at $4.99 instead of $99.99, thanks to the 95 per cent discount.
"Entering the digital Deluxe Edition brings even more mayhem with the Justice League outfits for the team, 3 infamous weapons, 4 weapon mannequins, 1 Battle Pass token and 4 colour swatches," reads Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League's Steam page about the additional content of the game's deluxe edition. A Battle Pass token can be used to unlock the Premium Battle Pass for one season (seasons 1 to 4, depending on availability).
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has a MetaCritic score of 60/100 and an OpenCritic score of 59/100. A similar picture emerges from the 7,546 user reviews on Steam, where the co-op game from Rockstaedy Studios is rated "mixed" with an average of 65 percent positive reviews. However, some Steam users say that they can definitely recommend this game at its currently lowest price ever.
