The display covers 100% of the sRGB gamut, has up to 300 nits of brightness, and boasts a quick 165 Hz refresh rate.

Additionally, the laptop features a backlit keyboard with a three-row numpad, Wi-Fi 6/BT 5.2, and a relatively low weight of only 2.11 kg (4.66 lbs). The exterior is rounded off by a port selection as follows:

Moving to performance, the combination of the RTX 4060 laptop GPU and the Core i7-13620H should ensure that the Acer Nitro V 15 plays the current AAA titles at FHD with respectable graphics. Unfortunately, Acer has only allowed the Nitro V 15 an 80 W RTX 4060 instead of the usual 115 W, so performance will be limited compared to other machines with a full-power RTX 4060. However, you can always supplement the performance techniques like FSR and DLSS.

Finally, the low power consumption and reduced TGP of the GPU also have a positive impact on the thermals as our review device remained fairly cool during testing.

All in all, the Acer Nitro V 15 may not offer the best performance but the laptop makes up for it with a solid battery life, comparatively lightweight construction, cool operation, and extensive upgradability options.
