One-Netbook has now become the first company to release a Zen 5-powered gaming handheld courtesy of the OneXFly F1 Pro. However, Ayaneo is hot on its heels with the Ayaneo, which will utilise the same AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 chipset as One-Netbook's recent effort.
Unfortunately, it still remains to be seen when the Ayaneo 3 will be available to purchase. In the meantime, the company has confirmed more details about the device, which is likely to officially land before the start of 2025. Ultimately, the Ayaneo 3 will only ever be as powerful as the OneXFly F1 Pro, including its lesser Ryzen 7 8840U variant.

With that being said, Ayaneo hopes to distinguish the Ayaneo 3 from its peers in other areas. For example, the company has now confirmed that the device will sport a refreshed vibration motor dubbed the 'Magnetic Suspension Motor'. Allegedly the first 'self-developed motor' released in Windows handhelds, it remains to be seen how well this will perform compared to those offered in the Legion Go and ROG Ally (curr. $499.99 on Amazon), among others.
Moreover, Ayaneo has also outlined that the Ayaneo 3 will support what it calls 'Free Button'. Based on the video below, it will be possible to swap out the ABXY buttons on the Ayaneo 3 at will. For reference, the Ayaneo 3 should eventually be available with a choice between LCD and OLED displays, unlike competing Windows handhelds.
