8BitDo releases two new devices to celebrate Sega Saturn's 30th anniversary
8BitDo has expanded its product stack again, fresh from releasing a 108-key version of the Retro Mechanical Keyboard earlier this month. Incidentally, roughly the same time has passed since the company started selling the black version of its long-awaited Nintendo 64-style wireless controller. This time, 8BitDo has introduced two new products, both to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Sega Saturn.
On the one hand, it has updated the Retro Mechanical Keyboard once again with what it is calling the 'S Edition'. Themed to mirror the Sega Saturn's colours, each Retro Mechanical Keyboard S Edition will ship with a unique serial number silkscreened across its fuchsia space bar. Moreover, the S Edition features accessories like additional keycaps and a special edition wristrest, as well as a collection certificate.

On the other hand, it has released a Retro Receiver design for the Sega Saturn, too. Available to order freely from Amazon for $24.99, the Retro Receiver makes the Sega Saturn compatible with pretty much any Bluetooth controller, including those sold for Xbox Series consoles, the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 and the Nintendo Switch.
