The FCC has published initial documentation for two of Samsung's next-generation flagship tablets. While the Galaxy Tab S9 has not appeared yet, the FCC has listed two versions of the Galaxy Tab S9 Plus and a sole Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra variant for now. All Galaxy Tab S9 models are expected to launch next month alongside new smartwatches.

Samsung's tradition of launching ultra-premium versions of its latest foldable smartphones as Chinese-market exclusives is now thought to continue in 2023 with the new "W24" series. They are slated to debut as even higher-end versions of the rumored Galaxy Z Fold5 and Flip5 - however, should that be the case, it seems they will fail to upgrade in one potentially significant respect.
