Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 4G debuts globally as new cheapest option in Redmi Note 13 series

Xiaomi has refreshed the Redmi Note 13 series as part of today's global launch event. For context, the company is now offering the Redmi Note 13 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G outside China and India. However, it has now added the Redmi Note 13 as a new entry-point in the Redmi Note 13 series. As for the Redmi Note 13, pre-release leaks confirmed that it combines hardware from its predecessor and its 5G counterpart. On the one hand, the new model carries over the Snapdragon 685 from the Redmi Note 12 4G, as well as a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 33 W wired charging. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 13 shares its 108 MP primary, 16 MP front-facing, 8 MP ultra-wide-angle and 2 MP auxiliary cameras with the Redmi Note 13 5G.

Moreover, the Redmi Note 13 has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that outputs at 1080p (2,400 x 1,080) with 1,800 nits peak brightness, 120 Hz and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coverage. While the handset matches the display size of the Redmi Note 13 5G, it does so within a larger and heavier housing that comes in at 188.5 g and 162.3 x 75.6 x 8 mm. The Redmi Note 13 also ships with MIUI 14 based on Android 13 and starts at €199.90 in Ice Blue, Midnight Black and Mint Green colour options:
