Motorola Moto G Stylus 2024 early details revealed with modernised design and 50 MP dual camera array

@OnLeaks has kicked off 2024 by publishing renders and information about one of Motorola's forthcoming smartphones. For context, @OnLeaks ended last year by leaking equivalent details for the Moto G Play 2024. While the leaker has partnered with Smartmania again, he has now turned his attention to the Moto G Stylus, the current version of which Motorola released in May 2023 (curr $361 on Amazon).

Based on @OnLeaks' estimations, Motorola has moved the Moto G Stylus on significantly from its 2023 model. On the one hand, the Moto G Stylus 2024 has thinner display bezels with a noticeably smaller chin. Additionally, the forthcoming handset has a more discrete punch-hole for its front-facing camera. On the other hand, the new Moto G Stylus has a revised camera housing that matches those seen in the Moto G04, Moto G24 and Moto G34.

However, the Moto G Stylus' footprint has hardly changed, with @OnLeaks' quoting 162.5 x 74.7 x 8.09 mm dimensions and a 190 g weight including its rumoured 5,000 mAh battery. Thus, the Moto G Stylus 2024 is expected weigh roughly 5 g less than its predecessor with a 0.4 mm shorter, 0.6 mm wider and 1.1 mm thinner housing. Predictably, a 50 MP and optically stabilised (OIS) sensor is anticipated to serve as the smartphone's primary camera, which will be joined by a secondary rear-facing camera and an 8 MP front-facing camera. Unfortunately, a release date remains unknown for now, as does launch pricing.
