HP Pro Fortis x360 11-inch G11 launches touted as productivity tank of a Windows convertible
HP asserts that the demand for workhorse PCs that go as hard as their users in their professional or scholastic endeavors is still strong in 2024, and that its latest Pro x360 Fortis convertible is right here for it right now.
In terms of specs, the G11 is essentially the G10 albeit with the Intel Processor N100 or N200 this time around, although the OEM intimates that it has gotten even tougher and more resilient with metal corners to reinforce its largely plastic body and Gorilla Glass 3 protection for its stylus-compatible (yet still HD only) screen.
The G11 may also have gotten more robust from the inside with HP Wolf Security for its Windows 11 Pro OS. The convertible also has a "work all day" (42Wh) battery with powered USB-C ports of up to 65W for "90% in 90 minutes" charging.
Generally, the idea seems to be that any IT department can hand these G11s out and then all but forget about them in terms of maintenance or management. HP claims that they start for as little as $479, although they are listed with 4GB of RAM, a 256GB M.2 2230 SSD and a 45W charger for $1,202 right now.
