Eurozone pricing for the Redmi Note 13 5G has surfaced online days after the device's Indian release. Slated to launch globally later this month, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 5G has an additional rear-facing camera over its Chinese counterpart, plus a 120 Hz AMOLED display, a modern MediaTek chipset and a 5,000 mAh battery.

European pricing for the Redmi Note 13 5G has surfaced online, a few days after the device went official in India. For reference, Xiaomi has now released two versions of the Redmi Note 13 5G with slightly different specifications. Principally, both devices feature 120 Hz and 1080p AMOLED displays, as well as a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 33 W wired charging.

Additionally, Xiaomi equips all variants with the Dimensity 6080, a 6 nm and octa-core chipset that MediaTek unveiled in late spring 2023. Also, the company protects the Redmi Note 13 5G's 6.67-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, which should be more scratch-resistant and drop-resistant than the Gorilla Glass 3 that covers the Redmi Note 12. Moreover, all variants ship with MIUI 14 based on Android 13 rather than HyperOS or Android 14.

However, Xiaomi has added a third rear-facing camera for the global Redmi Note 13, with an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor complementing the 108 MP primary, 2 MP depth and 16 MP front-facing cameras that were already present in its Chinese counterpart. So far, mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) Aldi Talk has only revealed a mid-range Redmi Note 13 5G SKU associated with the European Article Number (EAN) 6941812755051, which has 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.

Given that Xiaomi sells its predecessor with multiple memory options, we suspect that the same will apply to the Redmi Note 13 5G. As a result, the €279 that Aldi Talk charges is unlikely to represent its starting price. Based on recent mid-range Xiaomi smartphone releases, it would seem that the Redmi Note 13 5G's entry-level option could launch for closer to €229 with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Currently, Xiaomi is expected to bring the Redmi Note 13 5G to more markets on January 15.
