Blackview BL9000: New rugged smartphone
The Blackview BL9000 is a new rugged smartphone that is set to launch at an affordable price. It also comes with a second display and is 5G capable.

Blackview has introduced a new smartphone, the BL9000, which is quite well equipped. The installed MediaTek Dimensity 8020 not only promises high operationality, but also allows the use of 5G networks. Added to this is Dual SIM support. A special cooling solution is also advertised, which is supposed to cool the SoC well. The RAM measures 12 GB and the built-in UFS 3.1 storage is more than decent at 512 GB.

The 197.5 x 82.6 x 17 millimeter smartphone weighs 413 grams and is said to be IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H certified. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protects the 6.8-inch display, which has a resolution of 1080 x 2460 and supports a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The 1.32-inch secondary display on the back is also protected by Gorilla Glass and can be used to display the time or notifications, or to control music playback.

An 8800 mAh battery is installed, which can be recharged particularly quickly with up to 120 watts. The main camera is based on an Isocell GN5 sensor with a resolution of 50 MP, while the ultra wide-angle camera has a resolution of 13 MP. The front camera offers 50 MP via a SK Hynix 5022Q sensor. NFC is also on board, and two Harman Kardon speakers promise good sound reproduction.

The BL9000 will be available for direct import from January 17th at a price of $599.98.
