Apple leaker Jon Prosser has ‘confirmed’ that the next-generation Apple MacBook Pro models will debut at Apple’s June 7 WWDC 2021 event. The new models are expected to usher in a new design with an upgraded Apple M1X or M2 chip and mini-LED displays.

Qualcomm has refreshed its Snapdragon 7c platform aimed at entry-level Windows 10 on ARM PCs and Chromebooks to the Snapdragon 7c Gen 2. The 7c Gen 2 is essentially the same SoC as the original 7c but with faster Cortex-A76 cores. Qualcomm said that the Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 can cater well to the needs of K-12 students, front-line workers, and casual users with decent performance, multi-day battery life, and always on LTE connectivity.

The new Intel Core i5-11400H laptop processor has turned up on CPU-Z Validator, and while the Tiger Lake chip certainly performed well, it seems like more can be expected from it in future. At the moment, the i5-11400H didn’t really disturb the AMD Ryzen 5 5600H in either the single-thread test or the multithread run.

LG has reportedly chosen a slightly odd moniker for its next generation of products.
