MSI CreatorPro Z16P: Intel Alder Lake-based laptop debuts with new NVIDIA RTX A3000 and RTX A5500 GPUs
MSI has unveiled the CreatorPro Z16P, a 'professional version of the Creator Z16P that it showcased in January at CES 2022. While the Creator Z16P relies on the RTX 3080 Ti, the CreatorPro Z16P will be available with NVIDIA's new RTX workstation GPUs instead. Predictably, MSI has stuck with Intel Alder Lake processors for the CreatorPro Z16P, though.
According to a press release, MSI will sell the CreatorPro Z16P with the Core i7-12700H and the Core i9-12900H, the same processors available on the Creator Z16P. However, MSI has swapped the RTX 3080 Ti for an RTX A5500 and an RTX A3000, comparable to the RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3060, respectively. Accordingly, the CreatorPro Z16P will arrive as NVIDIA Studio Laptop-certified.
Moreover, the CreatorPro Z16P comes with vapour chamber cooling, a 165 Hz and QHD display that measures 16-inches across, 32 GB of DDR5-4800 RAM and a 1 TB or 2 TB SSD. Also, MSI has included a 90 Wh battery, quad 2 W speakers and a per-key RGB keyboard within a machine that weighs 2.39 kg and measures 359 x 256 x 19 mm. While MSI has not discussed availability yet, the CreatorPro Z16P will retail for at least €3,499. The 16-inch has the following ports too, regardless of the configuration chosen:
