MSI Prestige 14 EVO: Intel Alder Lake refresh announced from US$929
MSI has unveiled the Prestige 14 EVO, an Intel EVO verified version of the Prestige 14. Correspondingly, the Prestige 14 EVO delivers over 9 hours of battery life, will wake within 1 second from sleep and supports fast charging. Additionally, MSI has included Thunderbolt 4 and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity.
Separately, all models come with a 14-inch, FHD, and 60 Hz IPS-level display that covers 100% of the sRGB colour space. Moreover, MSI includes LPDDR4x-4267 RAM, an M.2 2280 SSD and a 52 Wh battery split between three channels. According to MSI, the new Prestige 14 EVO measures 319 x 219 x 15.9 mm and weighs 1.29 kg too.
MSI has confirmed that the Prestige 14 EVO will start at US$929 with a Core i5-1240P and will rise to US$1,299 for its flagship configuration. The new Prestige 14 EVO will be available in the following configurations:

For some reason, MSI has decided to pass on the cost of Windows 11 licenses to its customers. Hence, configurations with Windows 11 Pro cost more than their Windows 11 Home counterparts. As such, MSI's most expensive configuration is not necessarily its highest specced. The Prestige 14 EVO will only be available in two colours: Bluestone and Carbon Gray.
