MSI has revealed the CreatorPro M series, consisting of 15-inch, 16-inch and 17-inch models. While the trio feature new NVIDIA RTX GPUs, they have different processors, displays and I/O. The CreatorPro M15, M16 and M17 all start at €1,599, though.

MSI has revealed the CreatorPro M series, to be available in 15-inch, 16-inch and 17-inch screen sizes. Revealed alongside the CreatorPro Z16P and CreatorPro Z17, the CreatorPro M series are, essentially, the same laptop in different chassis. According to MSI's press releases, the trio will measure and weigh as follows:

  • CreatorPro M15 - 1.86 kg / 359 x 254 x 21.7 mm
  • CreatorPro M16 - 2.26-2.29 kg / 359 x 259 x 23.95-26.95 mm
  • CreatorPro M17 - 2.67-2.73 kg / 398 x 273 x 25.85-28.85 mm

Additionally, MSI will offer the CreatorPro M16 and CreatorPro 17 with up to the Core i7-12700H complemented by the RTX A1000, RTX A2000 or RTX A3000. You can find out more details about these GPUs in our corresponding article, which also discusses the RTX A5500. Moreover, MSI equips all models with DDR4-3200 RAM, although MSI has not confirmed how much storage will be available.

However, MSI has decided to stick with 11th Gen. Intel Core processors for the CreatorPro M15. As such, the 15-inch model must make do with up to the Core i7-11800H, plus just the RTX A1000. The CreatorPro M15 has three USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports to the two in the CreatorPro M16 and CreatorPro M17 though. For some reason, MSI has included one USB 2.0 Type-A connection in the CreatorPro M16 and CreatorPro M17. All machines will feature the following other ports, mind you:

  • 1x DC-in
  • 1x HDMI(4K@60Hz)
  • 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C

Incidentally, the CreatorPro M15 has the smallest battery of the three CreatorPro M series machines at 51 Wh. Furthermore, the machine comes with a 120 W power adapter, not the 180 W slim or 240 W adapters that MSI includes with the 16-inch and 17-inch models. The CreatorPro M15 and CreatorPro M17 have inferior displays compared to the CreatorPro M16 too; only the 16-inch model has higher than a 1080p panel. Still, all models will start at €1,599, including VAT.
