Dell's upcoming Precision 5470 mobile workstation may feature an unannounced Intel Arc Pro GPU
An alleged spec sheet of a yet-to-be-announced Dell Precision 5470 mobile workstation has surfaced online, showing a laptop with powerful hardware. The notebook will reportedly be powered by up to an Intel Core i9-12900HK, up to 64 GB of LPDDR5 5200 MHz memory, and an optional Nvidia A1000 laptop card with 4 GB of GDDR6. What is more interesting, however, is the mention of an optional Intel Arc A30M Pro GPU.
Listed as "coming soon" on the spec sheet, we have no information about the workstation GPU. In our news about the availability of Acer Swift X, we mentioned that Intel Arc A370M might be close in performance to the Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti. Keeping this in mind, we wouldn’t be surprised if the Intel Arc A30M Pro card is a budget offering with a similar performance profile.
Tom’s Hardware speculates that it is also possible that the Intel Arc A30M Pro represents a family of chips. Unfortunately, there is nothing regarding this in the leaked datasheet, so the information is pure conjecture.
As always, take the leak with a grain of salt as we won’t have confirmation of the specifications until Dell officially announces the Precision 5470 mobile workstation.
