The Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3i has landed on Amazon Germany two months ahead of schedule. Referred to by Amazon as the IdeaPad Gaming 3, the IdeaPad Gaming 3i debuted last month at MWC 2022 in Barcelona with Intel 12th Gen Core processors. Seemingly, the IdeaPad Gaming 3i may not begin shipping until May though, as Lenovo confirmed at MWC 2022.
According to Lenovo, the 15-inch version of the IdeaPad Gaming 3i will start at €999. However, Amazon Germany implies that the optional Intel Arc A370M will only be a €100 upgrade. Additionally, Lenovo includes an Intel Core i5-12450H for that price, an 8-core processor with 12 threads, a 45 W TDP and a UHD Graphics Xe G4 integrated GPU with 48 Execution Units (EUs). Moreover, the laptop features a 512 GB SSD and 16 GB of RAM, effectively confirming that it is an entry-level SKU.
Moreover, the 82S90070GE only has a 1080p display. In comparison, Lenovo will eventually offer the IdeaPad Gaming 3i with a 1440p panel that also has a 165 Hz refresh rate. Theoretically, the Intel A370M will deliver twice the performance of the Intel Iris Xe Graphics G7, an integrated GPU found in Alder Lake processors. In other words, it should match other entry-level dedicated GPUs like the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti.
