The Lenovo Yoga 9i Gen 7 is now orderable with a 4K OLED display and Intel Alder Lake processors
A few months have passed since Lenovo unveiled the Yoga 9i G7, which the company showcased in January at CES 2022. While Lenovo claimed that it would start selling the laptop in March, that did not come to pass. Instead, it has only now listed the Yoga 9i Gen 7 on its website, where it starts at US$1,299.99.
Typically, this configuration should retail for US$1,449.99, but Lenovo has reduced it as part of its spring discounts. For reference, the configuration (82LU001LUS) has a Core i7-1260P processor, 8 GB of LPDDR5-5200 RAM and a 256 GB PCIe Gen 4 SSD. Additionally, the machine has a 14-inch, 1,920 x 1,200-pixel, and 400-nit touchscreen IPS display with Dolby Vision.
In comparison, the Yoga 9i Gen 7 is orderable with a 4K OLED display in Europe. Also, Lenovo offers the laptop with Core i5-1240P and Core i7-1280P processors, plus 512 GB or 1 TB of storage. Unfortunately, there are no dedicated GPU options. Presumably, Lenovo will begin selling OLED options in the US at some stage.
