Lenovo has unveiled the Yoga Slim 7 Pro 16ARH7, a 16-inch laptop powered by either the Ryzen 5 6600HS Creator Edition or the Ryzen 7 6800HS Creator Edition. The system also comes with an RTX 3050 or an RTX 3050 Ti, plus a 165 Hz display that resolves at 2.5K.

Lenovo has announced the Yoga Slim 7 Pro 16ARH7, another laptop powered by Ryzen 6000HS Creator Edition APUs. However, the Yoga Slim 7 Pro 16ARH7 misses out on the Ryzen 9 6900HS, unlike the new Yoga Slim 7 Pro and the Yoga Slim 7 Pro X. Still, the Yoga Slim 7 Pro 16ARH7 relies on the Ryzen 5 6600HS Creator Edition and Ryzen 7 6800HS Creator Edition, which both feature RDNA 2-based iGPUs.

Specifically, the Ryzen 5 6600HS has 6-cores, 12 threads, a 4.5 GHz boost clock speed and a Radeon 660M iGPU. In comparison, the Ryzen 7 6800HS comes with 8-cores, 16 threads and the Radeon 680M. For some reason, neither AMD nor Lenovo have revealed what separates these Creator Edition APUs from their regular counterparts. Potentially, the Ryzen 5 6600HS Creator Edition and Ryzen 7 6800HS Creator Edition will have higher base clock speeds than the Ryzen 5 6600HS and Ryzen 7 6800HS, as their predecessors did.

Furthermore, Lenovo equips the Yoga Slim 7 Pro 16ARH7 with an RTX 3050 or an RTX 3050 Ti GPU, along with 16 GB or 32 GB of dual-channel LPDDR5 RAM clocked at 6,400 MHz. Elsewhere, the machine will be available with 512 GB or 1 TB of PCIe Gen4 storage, a 75 Wh battery and a 2.5K display spanning 16-inches across.

According to Lenovo, the IPS panel peaks at 500 nits, is Dolby Vision certified and has a 165 Hz refresh rate, 45 Hz higher than the equivalent in the Yoga Slim 7 Pro 16IAH7. Incidentally, the Yoga Slim 7 Pro 16ARH7 has different I/O, depending on which configuration you choose.

AMD + Radeon Graphics

  • 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A
  • 1x SD card reader
  • 1x HDMI 2.0
  • 1x USB 3.2 Type-C
  • 1x USB 2.0 Type-C (USB PD)
  • 1x 3.5 mm audio jack

AMD + NVIDIA

  • 2x USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A
  • 1x SD card reader
  • 1x HDMI 2.0
  • 1x USB 3.2 Type-C
  • 1x Square DC-In
  • 1x 3.5 mm audio Jack

Unfortunately, Lenovo has not confirmed how much the Slim 7 Pro 16ARH7 will cost, nor from when it will be available. Currently, the company has only informed us that the machine will launch 'later this year'. Presumably, this applies across all markets, not just Europe.
