Intel Xeon E5-2680 v4

The Intel Xeon E5-2680 is a high-end processor based on the Broadwell architecture and is primarily used for workstations and servers (up to 2 sockets). The Intel Xeon E5-2680 v4 has 14 physical cores and can execute up to 28 threads simultaneously thanks to the Hyper-Threading technology.  The base clock of the 14 core CPU is 2.4 GHz, but can be raised up to 3.3 GHz via Turbo Boost if necessary. The integrated quad-channel memory controller can address up to 1.56 TB DDR4-2400 RAM, which results in a maximum memory bandwidth of 76.8 GB/s. Intel specifies the TDP of the Xeon E5-2680 v4 with 120 Watts, so the 14-nm chip is comparatively frugal for the high multi-thread performance. A stress test with the tool Prime95 resulted in a maximum consumption of 136 Watts. The CPU scales very well in multi-thread applications, but the Intel Xeon E5-2680 v4 is at a disadvantage when the application without multi-thread support. Higher-clocked processors like the Intel Core i7-6700K, for example, will be much faster in this case.

KFA² GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB EX OC Review

Upper mid-range Pascal GPU. Nvidia's Pascal generation brought many changes to the GPU segment last year. We now have an upper mid-range model with a specifically developed cooling unit from KFA². Our test sample is also equipped with 6 GB GDDR5 VRAM. Continue reading to find out how effective the cooling unit is and whether it is worth buying this graphics card.

Zotac GeForce GT 1030 Review

Tiny Pascal spin-off! With the launch of last year´s new Pascal generation, Nvidia stirred up the high-end segment of graphics cards and bit by bit added mid-range and now entry-level products. The Nvidia GeForce GT 1030 by Zotac offers a low-profile PCB and 2 GB of GDDR5 memory. The question this review is about to answer: Is this GPU branded for use in a living-room PC or can it be actually suitable for gaming?

Nvidia Titan X Pascal Review - The Fastest Consumer GPU Available

Fast, faster, fastest. Two months after the launch of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Founder's Edition, the Nvidia Titan X was introduced to the public on 8th of August 2016. The new Titan X is based on the Pascal architecture, which has significantly improved the performance of the smaller variants. 1024 shader units more than the GeForce GTX 1080, 12 GB GDDR5X VRAM, and a wider memory interface raise hope for outstanding performance. In our review, you will find out how well the higher performance potential can be used and whether there are also points of criticism.
