Toro has unveiled a new robotic lawn mower that uses cameras in place of LiDAR for its localization system. The cameras mean you do not need to use a boundary wire to keep the mower in place, and the robot can use them for obstacle avoidance. You can control the gadget with an app and set a mowing schedule, which it can recommend based on the weather forecast.

The Tertill Garden Weeding Robot is on sale in the US with a US$150 discount this Amazon Prime Day. The robot, from the inventor of Roomba, can identify and disrupt weeds as they grow in your vegetable patch or border. The gadget is purely solar-powered and can cover an area up to 200 ft² (~19 m²).

The upgraded HomePod would be closer to the original device, with size and audio quality to match. The new Apple TV model is slated to have greater processing power from an A14 chip.

Mammotion has revealed the KUMAR wireless robot lawn mower, designed for commercial use.
