MagyarTCL 2023 Smart S Class new cheaper Google TVs arrive
TCL has launched the 2023 Smart S Class TVs in the US, including the S4, S3 and S2 models. The S4 is a 4K Ultra HD TV with a Direct LED display, supporting Dolby Vision and HDR10. The panel has a 60Hz refresh rate and Motion Rate 240 with MEMC Frame Insertion, which brings clarity to fast-moving images. The S3 and S2 also have a Direct LED-backlit display, with a 60hz refresh rate and 1080p and 720p resolutions, respectively.
The S Class TVs run on the Google TV Smart OS and are accompanied by a smart remote with buttons for streaming services like Netflix and YouTube. Alternatively, you can control the device with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa voice commands and wirelessly mirror content from a smartphone via Chromecast. Each TV has integrated speakers, with 10W, 16W and 30W setups in the S2, S3 and S4. Plus, the S4 supports Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual: X technologies. The TVs have various ports, including USB 2.0 and HDMI ARC, with HDMI eARC on the S4.
You can now buy the 2023 TCL Smart S Class TVs in the US, with the entry-level 32-in S2 priced at US$169.99. The 32-in S3 retails for US$199.99, while the smallest S4 model, a 45-in TV, costs US$279.99. You can find a full price list below.
