MagyarNew Lenovo YOGA 5000s smart projector teased
Lenovo has teased the new YOGA 5000s smart projector in China. The company suggests that the gadget is compact, small enough to be held in one hand. The Weibo teaser posters also tell us that the projector will have an adjustable brightness feature, with the maximum brightness allowing daytime viewing. Further details, including the launch date, price and resolution, have yet to be announced.
It is expected that the YOGA 5000s will be similar to the 5000 model. This older projector has a 1080p native resolution with 4K decoding and support for HDR10 and HLG. The gadget has a 0.33-in DMD and 4LED light source, producing up to 1,500 ANSI lumens brightness. You can use the projector to throw images up to 300-in (~762 cm) wide, though the recommended maximum projection size is 120-in (~305 cm). You can perfect the image with autofocus and four corner keystone correction tools.
The Lenovo device has two built-in 6W speakers, supporting Dolby and DTS technologies, and the projector can be controlled with voice commands. The 5000 measures 194 x 194 x 141 mm (~7.6 x 7.6 x 5.6-in). You can currently buy the Lenovo YOGA 5000 projector in China for 4,888 yuan (~US$702). It is unclear exactly how the new YOGA 5000s projector will differ from the 5000 model; we will continue to provide updates as more details are released.
