Lenovo’s Yoga 6 13.3-inch convertible with AMD Barcelo-U refreshed processor launched in early 2023 is on sale at Best Buy. Both the base model with 8 GB RAM / 256 GB SSD and the 16 GB RAM / 512 GB SSD have already dropped by US$50, but now Best Buy is also adding a US$150 discount, bringing the base model price down to US$549.99 while the advanced configuration is now US$749.99.

We reviewed the 16 GB LPDDR4-4266 RAM / 512 GB SSD variant in March and the configuration impresses on multiple fronts. Despite not bringing much of a performance uplift, the Ryzen 7 7730U with integrated Vega 8 GPU remains one of the fastest and more efficient processors in its class. The system stays silent most of the time and the 59 Wh battery is enough to offer 12 h of continuous web surfing or over 2 hours in full load. Other features that recommend this model include the 1080p webcam with infrared sensor, fingerprint sensor, microSD card reader, fast MediaTek Wi-Fi 6 + BT 5.2 wireless connectivity and the overall portability thanks to the 1.39 kg (3 lbs) weight.

One of the downsides for this model is represented by the relatively dim (280 nits) touchscreen with glossy finish, which otherwise is decent with 1920 x 1200 resolution, 60 Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB color gamut. The USB port selection with 2x USB-A and 2x USB-C is not great either, as the connectors are limited to 5 Gbps. At least the USB-C ports support DP and there is also an HDMI 2.0b for a total of three outputs.
