The Garmin Venu Sq is currently available with a discount in the US. At Best Buy, the smartwatch is reduced by US$80, allowing you to purchase the gadget for US$119.99 rather than US$199.99. The wearable is also on offer at Amazon US, where you can buy the watch for US$117.49, a 41% discount on the original retail price. A similar deal is offered at the Garmin online store.
The Venu Sq is a GPS smartwatch with health monitoring features like heart rate, blood oxygen level, sleep and stress tracking. You can use the Body Battery metric to track your energy levels and record your exercise with more than 20 activity types. Incident Detection can also send your location to your chosen emergency contacts if the watch senses an accident. Other features include preloaded workouts, contactless payments via Garmin Pay and smart notifications from your connected iOS or Android smartphone.
The watch has a 1.3-in (~33 mm) color display with a 240 x 240 px resolution and an optional always-on mode. In Smartwatch mode, the battery can last for up to six days, though constant GPS usage reduces this to 14 hours. The offer is available on the Slate (gray), Orchid (purple) and Light Gold/White versions of the wearable. It is unclear how long these deals on the Garmin Venu Sq smartwatch will last.
