Garmin has issued a new beta update for Fenix 6 series, as well as Enduro, Tactix Delta, Quatix 6 and Marq smartwatches. While the Fenix 7 has received three updates in a week on Garmin's Beta Program. In comparison, Beta Version 25.86 is the first beta update for the Fenix 6 series and its counterparts since the start of the month.
According to Garmin's forum post, Beta Version 25.86 only contains bug fixes from the software that it shipped in Beta Version 25.85. Specifically, the new beta build fixes a shutdown that could occur when receiving smart notifications during an activity. Additionally, Beta Version 25.86 addresses another shutdown issue that occasionally happened when choosing a PacePro plan.
Moreover, the new beta build includes a fix for a bug that prevented a custom power mode from being set inside an activity. Please note that Garmin will not push Beta Version 25.86 to smartwatches directly. Instead, you must manually sideload the software for the specific smartwatch you own.
