Dutch retailer De Bijenkorf has published details about one of many Epix 2 Pro models on its website. While the retailer does not mention a release date, Garmin is alleged to be only up to a few weeks away from introducing the Epix 2 Pro series, as well as various Fenix 7 Pro smartwatches. Erroneously referred to as a Fenix 6X model in the listing's URL, all press images match earlier Epix 2 Pro leaks.
Specifically, De Bijenkorf has listed the 42 mm version of the Epix 2 Pro, the smallest of three sizes. As the screenshot below shows, Garmin will sell the 42 mm Sapphire Edition for €1,049.99. Thus, De Bijenkorf has confirmed an earlier leak in which @billbil-kun revealed Epix 2 Pro and Fenix 7 Pro series pricing across the Eurozone.
For reference, Garmin is expected to offer this option in a carbon grey finish with a black strap and not just a light gold variant with a beige strap shown in the embedded press images. Moreover, De Bijenkorf mentions the Epix 2 Pro series supporting new functionality like Endurance Score, Hill Score and a Gen5 heart rate monitor. The listing also states that Garmin has included a flashlight, although it remains to be seen whether this is display-based or through dedicated LEDs. Currently, Garmin is rumoured to have set a June 19 release date for the Epix 2 Pro and Fenix 7 Pro series. An earlier launch date is expected, though.
