The Garmin Vivoactive 4 and Vivoactive 4S smartwatches are now on offer in the US. At the Garmin Store, Best Buy and Amazon, you can buy the wearables for US$199.99, with a US$150 or 39% saving on the typical retail price of US$349.99. The deals are available on various colours of the watch, including the Slate Stainless Steel Bezel with Black Case and Silver Stainless Steel Bezel with Gray Case versions.
The Vivoactive 4S has a 40 mm (~1.6-in) watch face, while the Vivoactive 4 is wider at 45 mm (~1.8-in); the models have 1.1-in (~27.9 mm) and 1.3-in (~33.0 mm) displays, respectively. Both watches have a stainless steel bezel and silicone strap. The GPS smartwatch has health features such as Body Battery energy level tracking, a Pulse Ox sensor and a wrist-based heart rate monitor. Training tools include workouts with animations, Garmin Coach and exercise logging for over 20 sports.
Other features include local music playback, Garmin Pay contactless payments and the Incident Detection safety feature. While the Vivoactive 4 has up to eight days of battery life with typical use on a single charge, the smaller Vivoactive 4S lasts up to seven days. It is unclear when these Amazon, Best Buy and Garmin store discounts on the Garmin Vivoactive 4S and Vivoactive 4 smartwatches will end.
