Garmin Fenix 7 Pro, Fenix 7S Pro and Fenix 7X Pro leak in Solar and Sapphire Solar variants
It seems that Garmin is preparing to bring a 'Pro' refresh to the Fenix 7 series. For reference, the Epix 2 series will soon receive the same treatment, which will also arrive in three sizes. Additionally, Garmin has created the Approach S70, a follow-up to last year's Approach S62.
According to Roland Quandt, Garmin has developed Pro versions of the Fenix 7, Fenix 7S and the Fenix 7X. As such, Fenix 7 Pro models will be available in three sizes, with 42 mm, 47 mm and 51 mm case sizes designated for the Fenix 7S Pro, Fenix 7 Pro and Fenix 7X Pro, respectively. Moreover, Garmin will offer Pro models in Solar or Sapphire Solar variants. As the latter's name suggests, it will feature a sapphire glass display.
However, Sapphire Solar models will also contain titanium cases, with Garmin including titanium cases for Solar models. Seemingly, Garmin will distinguish new Pro models from their standard counterparts with the inclusion of multi-band GPS connectivity. Based on the images embedded below, all other core Fenix 7 series features appear unchanged, such as five physical buttons, QuickFit straps and 10 ATM water resistance.
Currently, Quandt expects to deliver Fenix 7 Pro models 'towards the end of May' or by the 'beginning of June'. Pricing has not leaked yet, although we would expect the Fenix 7X Pro Sapphire Solar to be the most expensive of the bunch.
