Garmin Epix 2 Pro series revealed in official images with cheaper than rumoured starting price

More information about Garmin's upcoming Epix 2 refresh has surfaced online, just over two weeks after initial details emerged. To recap, Gadgets & Wearables and the5krunner discovered information about three new models with 42 mm, 47 mm and 51 mm case sizes. Now, Roland Quandt has leaked promotional images of these sizes, along with a fourth model that also has a 51 mm case size.

According to Quandt, Garmin will offer the Epix Pro 2 series in two colour options with and without sapphire glass finishes. Seemingly, Garmin ties sapphire glass with titanium bezels. In comparison, standard Epix Pro 2 models will feature stainless steel cases. However, both variants will have 10 ATM water resistance and multi-band GPS connectivity.

Moreover, the Epix Pro 2 series will retain the five-button layout Garmin offers in standard Epix 2 models. Likewise, Garmin has included its QuickFit watch straps in 22 mm and 26 mm sizes, depending on the model chosen. Currently, Quandt estimates that Garmin will release the Epix Pro 2 series in late May or early June. The leaker adds that the series will start from approximately €900, which would be €50 cheaper than last month's leak suggested. Purportedly, the series' 47 mm and 51 mm variants will retail north of €1,000, with the latter priced at an astonishing €1,150.
