Garmin has released Beta Version 13.16 for Fenix 7, Enduro 2, Epix 2, Quatix 7 and Marq 2 series smartwatches, which is undergoing a phased rollout. Currently, the company claims to have pushed the new beta update to 25% of the devices that are eligible. However, it hopes to reach more smartwatches within the next 24-48 hours. Alternatively, you can request the update immediately, even if your smartwatch is not in the target rollout percentage, by heading to Menu - System - Software Update and tapping Check for Updates.
Please note that Beta Version 13.16 is not a Release Candidate. Thus, we are likely to see more beta builds arrive before Garmin is ready to offer a new stable update. Also, Beta Version 13.16 makes fewer changes to Fenix 7, Enduro 2, Epix 2, Quatix 7 and Marq 2 series smartwatches than its predecessor. For context, Garmin bundled over a dozen changes with Beta Version 13.15, covered separately.
In comparison, Beta Version 13.16 features disclosed five changes. According to Garmin's forum post, this week's beta build fixes an issue with the app list background when the activity name would marquee. Moreover, Beta Version 13.16 fixes possible issues with CIQ FaceIT, a scenario where a device could get stuck on the load focus tip and where the sun's path would be too thin on the sunrise/sunset map page. Beta Version 13.16 updates translations too; please see Garmin's forum post for more details.
