Garmin has released Beta Version 15.15 for the Forerunner 255, likely the last beta build before a new stable build arrives. Beta Version 15.15 brings several bug fixes to the Forerunner 255, as well as support for a few new features.

Garmin has rolled out more beta updates for several smartwatches, including the Garmin Forerunner 255. The first beta update of this month, Beta Version 15.15 builds on last month's Beta Version 15.12 with various bug fixes and a few new features. Please note that Beta Version 15.15 is at 50% rollout currently, meaning that your Forerunner 255 may not be eligible to download the update. However, Garmin hopes to reach more smartwatches within the next day or so.

Additionally, Beta Version 15.15 is a Release Candidate build. In other words, the beta build will soon reach all Forerunner 255 models as v15.15 provided that Garmin does not find any critical issues during public beta testing. Moreover, Garmin will deliver Beta Version 15.15 via its Garmin Mobile Connect (GCM) platform rather than as an over-the-air (OTA) download.

According to the company's changelog, Beta Version 15.15 adds support for showing the amount of battery life within CIQ watch faces. Furthermore, the new update allows the Forerunner 255 to access a cycling event's associated power guide from the race widget and shows the course point name on course point toasts. Also, the company has included several bug fixes that should improve the overall user experience from Beta Version 15.12 The full Beta Version 15.15 changelog is as follows:
