TicWatch Pro 5: Retailer reveals full specifications for Mobvoi's next-generation Wear OS smartwatch
Amazon Canada has shared what appears to be Mobvoi's complete marketing materials for the TicWatch Pro 5, the latter's next-generation smartwatch. Previously, Mobvoi's app code revealed a TicWatch Pro 5 render, while the FCC provided a few details about the device in February. Not only does Amazon Canada's leak confirm previous leaked details, such as the smartwatch's design and its battery capacity, but it also outlines numerous changes from the TicWatch Pro 3 series.

Specifically, the TicWatch Pro 5 has a rotating crown and a secondary physical button, mirroring the Pixel Watch. Also, the smartwatch will be one of the first with the Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1, as well as 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. While Mobvoi's dual-layer display technology returns, the TicWatch Pro 3 has nominally larger 1.43-inch panels, which fit within a 50 mm case that weighs 44 g.
Moreover, Mobvoi has added several other features that the TicWatch Pro 3 series lacked. For example, the TicWatch Pro 5 has a built-in compass, along with multi-band GPS and a barometer. Additionally, Mobvoi has integrated heart rate backlights, smart training recovery time and VO2 Max. The TicWatch Pro 5 is rated for up to 80 hours of battery life, or 45 days in 'Essential Mode'. Allegedly, 30 minutes of charging will take the smartwatch from 0-65% charge too. Pricing has not leaked yet, nor has a release date. However, its appearance in full on Amazon Canada suggests that Mobvoi is finally close to replacing the TicWatch Pro 3 series.
