Garmin has released Beta Version 15.15 for the Forerunner 955 and Beta Version 4.15 for the Forerunner 965 smartwatches. The updates share many similarities and are close to v15.15 for the Forerunner 255 and v4.15 for the Forerunner 265. For example, all wearables received support for accessing a cycling event’s power guide via the race widget. Support for course point names and a battery life remaining in days for CIQ watch faces have also been added.
Unique to the Forerunner 955 and 965 is a fix for an issue that delivered a flat line graph for heat acclimation. Also, a problem which could lead segments not to be ended correctly has been resolved, as has an issue where the map orientation would change when zooming. Exclusive to the Garmin Forerunner 965 is a fix for a bug that could prevent language selection as a set-up option after the device has been reset. Only available for the Garmin Forerunner 955 is the resolution to a case where icons did not correctly display when viewed on watch faces with a white background.
