MagyarXiaomi unveils new Mijia Smart Micro-Steamer 4-in-1 device
The Xiaomi Mijia Smart Micro-Steamer has arrived in China. The four-in-one device can microwave, air fry, bake and steam foods. A peak power of 2,000W is delivered in the air frying or baking mode, with three-dimensional hot air circulation around the oven. The Mijia Smart Micro-Steamer has 1,000W power when microwaving and 1,600W for steaming.
Direct injection steaming provides quick cooking, delivering steam in as little as 30 seconds. The maximum steam temperature is 180°C (~356 °F), and the kitchen gadget has a 1L water tank. You can control the oven via a dial with a 1.32-in (~34 mm) OLED display, showing information such as the remaining cooking time. Plus, you can adjust the device’s settings with Xiao AI voice commands or in the Mijia App, where you can find over 100 recipes. The kitchen gadget measures 458 x 396 x 496 mm (~18.1 x 15.6 x 19.5-in), has a 27L capacity and comes with a baking tray and rack.
The Xiaomi Mijia Smart Micro-Steamer is available to pre-order in China for 1,999 yuan (~US$284) with a 100 yuan (~US$14) deposit. When this presale campaign ends, the kitchen gadget is expected to retail for 2.299 yuan (~US$326). It is unclear whether or when Xiaomi plans to launch its new product in other markets.
