Small but so-so. The Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 4 is one of the most compact ThinkPads with AMD Ryzen CPUs. Unfortunately, the compact size results in some compromises, which gets obvious when it comes to the CPU performance.

Marathon runner. Two years after the first Snapdragon ThinkPad, Lenovo releases a new variant. The Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 offers excellent battery life numbers, but compatibility can still be problematic in some cases.

Meteor Lake redesign. The Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 5 not only brings an update to Core Ultra Series 1—also known as Meteor Lake—but the slim ThinkPad T-series device has also been given a big redesign. But for the first time in a long time, Lenovo has axed an AMD option for this business laptop.

Premiere for the RTX 500 Ada. Lenovo has given the Intel version of the ThinkPad P14s G5 a completely new case including a 3K IPS panel. Apart from this, the mobile workstation is equipped with a current Meteor Lake processor as well as the Nvidia RTX 500 Ada—plus, it boasts good maintenance options. Is its development going in the right direction again?

Too much performance in too little laptop. The Lenovo ThinkPad P14s is the smallest ThinkPad workstation. The model ThinkPad P14s Gen 4 Intel has some interesting features that are MIA from its successor, but the battery life suffers due to the inefficient OLED screen - and the cooling system is overwhelmed by the components on the inside.

Standstill on the executive floor? Lenovo has dropped the name Yoga from its flagship convertible for business customers, now calling it the ThinkPad X1 2in1. AI marketing aside, its new Meteor Lake processor offers little performance and its high-resolution OLED touchscreen isn't entirely good. Lenovo also offers an optional haptic touchpad without TrackPoint buttons.

Matte black Phoenix. We already reviewed the Lenovo ThinkPad T16 G2 with Raptor Lake. Now, the Ryzen variant follows. Since the successor T16 G3 is not going to be available with AMD CPUs, the T16 G2 AMD is still an interesting choice in 2024.
