Vivo X Flip: OEM confirms design and imminent launch for its inaugural clamshell foldable

Vivo has confirmed that its folding mobile device tech is going clamshell for the first time, in the form of the inaugural X Flip. The presumably ultra-portable Android smartphone is now officially tipped to launch with Zeiss-tuned rear cameras, a larger-than-average cover display with useful second-screen functions and three different colorways. Its processor and TUV Rheinland-certified hinge integrity are also now official ahead of its impending launch.

The "X Flip" has allegedly been spotted in the hands of a Chinese pop-culture personality who might be introduced as the Android device's official spokesperson soon.
