Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5: Latest leak suggests evidence of hinge-gap
Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip5 has yet to make an official appearance, yet is already thought to be best prepared to challenge rivals such as the Motorola Razr+ - especially in terms of cover display real estate. Its latest leak purports to put that upgraded spec on display once again.
It is also touted to showcase the rest of the Flip5's design, consisting of photos and video of what seems to be models of the upcoming foldable. They appear not to have working displays, yet can apparently fold and unfold, like a real clamshell smartphone.
Unfortunately, the demonstration seems to reveal that Samsung has not solved every potential problem of the Galaxy Z Flip4 in its successor. Its "dummy" still has the waterdrop-shaped hinge gap of older foldables, whereas rivals such as Motorola's new flexible flagship do not.
The new leak may also indicate that the Flip5 will come in black and white, and may be more or less the same size as its predecessor.
