Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 pricing leaks with full specifications and nearly 40 official images
Leaker @snoopytech_ has shared official images for the Galaxy Z Flip5, showcasing the clamshell foldable in Cream, Graphite, Lavender and Mint colour options. As rumoured, this year's Galaxy Z Flip will close without a gap, although it remains IPX8 certified against water ingress, with no IP58 certification to be found. Additionally, the handset is said to measure 85.1 x 71.9 x 15.1 mm, making it up to 2 mm thinner than its predecessor and 0.2 mm taller. The new Galaxy Z Flip will still weigh 187 g, though.
While a 6.7-inch foldable display remains, the cover panel has grown from 1.9-inches to 3.4-inches. Incidentally, a hands-on photo showing the 748 x 720-pixel panel has also surfaced online, which we have embedded above. Now spanning almost the full width of the front panel, the cover display will sit above 12 MP primary and ultra-wide-angle cameras. Meanwhile, Samsung continues to install a 10 MP internal camera beneath a punch hole cut out, unlike the Galaxy Z Fold5.
Reportedly, the Galaxy Z Flip5 will start at €1,299 with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, with 256 GB and 512 GB options also said to be available. Hence, the Galaxy Z Flip5 may cost 13% more than its predecessor. The Galaxy Z Flip5 will launch next month alongside various other devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold5. The pair of foldables will be joined by the Galaxy Watch6 and Galaxy Tab S9 series, with Galaxy Tab S9 FE tablets expected to land later this year.
