Deal | WD Black SN850X SSD with 4TB is 63% off for a limited time
While yesterday's deal for a budget-friendly NVMe solid-state drive made by a well-known American company is still available, true storage enthusiasts are probably looking for a good opportunity to get their hands on one of the fastest PCIe 4.0 SSDs on the market, such as the WD Black SN850X. Fittingly, Western Digital is currently running a promotion that results in a noteworthy deal for the 4TB SKU of this flagship storage module.
More specifically, the California-based SSD maker is granting an automatic US$50 discount on all orders above US$300 at its official online store. Since the 4TB version of the WD Black SN850X is currently priced at US$299.99, bargain hunters will have to add another cheap item to their shopping cart in order to take advantage of this offer. Fortunately, the SanDisk Ultra USB flash drive costs just US$6.25, which results in a very compelling deal price of US$256 for the high-end M.2-2280 SSD from Western Digital.
As already indicated, the WD Black SN850X is extremely fast and can achieve sequential read and write speeds of up to 7,300 and 6,600 megabytes per second, respectively. Due to its high capacity, the 4TB SSD is very durable as it should last for at least 2,400 TBW according to the official data sheet. Gamers who plan to use the new drive in their PlayStation 5 should make sure to install a separately bought heatsink, which can be found from US$9 on Amazon. Please also note that this intriguing SSD deal is only valid until June 26.
