Samsung confirms date of Galaxy Z Flip5, Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Watch6 and Galaxy Tab S9 launches with reservation bonuses
Samsung has finally shared details about its next Galaxy Unpacked event, having teased a few weeks ago that it would occur at the end of July. According to the company's latest press release, its 27th Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on July 26, the final Wednesday of the month. For reference, Samsung has scheduled the event to start at 11:00 UTC.
As always, Samsung will broadcast the event on its YouTube channel. So far, it has released two teaser videos, which we have embedded below. Sporting the tagline 'Join the flip side', it appears that both videos contain the Galaxy Z Flip5, identifiable by its clamshell design, rounded corners, and capacitive fingerprint scanner. While Samsung is attempting to keep the design of the Galaxy Z Flip5 a secret, high-resolution render images have already surfaced online, as have various device specifications.
Separately, US residents can already register for a US$50 discount when ordering one of its forthcoming products. The same applies in some other markets too, including the UK, although you must first enter a prize draw to win a £150 gift voucher and be comfortable sharing your phone number with Samsung. Although Samsung has not acknowledged what products it will announce at this month's Galaxy Unpacked event, it is clear that the Galaxy Z Fold5 is ready for release, as are the Galaxy Watch6 and Galaxy Tab S9 series.
