July 2023 security update for the Samsung Galaxy S23 lineup now available
Over the last few years, Samsung has become a brand that provides excellent software support to its handsets, promising up to 5 years of security updates to most of its handsets back in 2021. To further sweeten the deal, they also prove to be very quick in delivering these patches, as proven by the July 2023 security update that is already rolling out to Galaxy S23 devices in the US. However, this is only happening for T-Mobile users for the time being.
According to SamMobile, the patch has around 425 MB in size and comes with version number S91xUSQS1AWFD. Thanks to it, those who use the T-Mobile carrier-locked Galaxy S23, S23 Ultra, and S23+ can feel safer from any digital threats currently lurking in the wild. Unfortunately, there is no work regarding any new features or noticeable performance improvements packed in this update.
For now, there is no official information regarding this update on the Samsung Mobile Security website, where the latest month mentioned is June 2023. Even when talking about the Pixel Update bulletins, the latest entry is dated June 13, 2023. This being said, more information regarding the July 2023 security patch for the Galaxy S23 lineup should surface in the coming days, as unlocked devices and those locked with other carriers will be updated.
