Samsung is finally updating the Galaxy S10 devices in the U.S. to Android 12 through One UI 4.1. Built on top of Android, One UI is Samsung's proprietary software experience that powers Galaxy smartphones. One UI 4.1 brings several feature improvements the majority of which focus on the camera.

More than a month after pushing One UI 4.1 to Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy S21 devices, Samsung is finally bringing the Android 12-powered software experience to the Galaxy S10 series in the U.S. Unlocked Galaxy S10 phones like Galaxy S10e will get One UI 4.1 in the next few days. Strangely, the Galaxy S10 5G won’t be getting this update but we expect it to follow suit shortly after.

As we’ve mentioned previously, in addition to bringing Android 12, One UI 4.1 packs in several camera improvements and features. For instance, with One UI 4.1, Galaxy S10 smartphones will receive Object Eraser. As the name suggests, Object Eraser removes unwanted objects from captured images.

Moreover, One UI 4.1 will also bring password-less Wi-Fi sharing, improved Samsung Health tracking, an enhanced Quick Share feature, and the April Security Patch among many others.

Unfortunately, One UI 4.1 will be the last big update to hit the Galaxy S10 series. Moving forward, the phones will only receive security patches.
