Xiaomi Redmi Watch 3 Active arrives in Europe for €39.99
Xiaomi is now offering the Redmi Watch 3 Active in Europe, less than a month after the company listed the smartwatch on its global website with no fanfare or press release. To recap, the Redmi Watch 3 Active is the global name for the Redmi Watch 3 Youth Edition, which Xiaomi has been selling since May in China. Xiaomi has decided against bringing all Redmi Watch 3 Youth Edition colour options to Europe, though. Instead, the Redmi Watch 3 Active is available in black or silver finishes, shown above and below.
According to Xiaomi, the Redmi Watch 3 Active has a 289 mAh battery that should last up to 12 days on a single charge. Additionally, the smartwatch features over 100 pre-loaded sports modes, as well as 200 watch faces. Unfortunately, Xiaomi has not included a GPS module that could have been used as part of activity tracking. Still, the Redmi Watch 3 Active packs heart rate and SpO2 sensors for monitoring various health metrics.
Moreover, the Redmi Watch 3 Active has a 1.83-inch LCD panel, which sits within a 47 mm case. The display also outputs at 240 x 280 pixels and 450 nits; its refresh rate remains unknown, though. Currently, MediaMarkt sells the Redmi Watch 3 Active for €39.99 in Germany. By contrast, Amazon charges €49 for the same model in the likes of Germany and Spain. Presumably, releases in other European markets will soon follow.
