The Garmin Beta Version 13.15 update for the Instinct 2, Instinct 2S, Instinct 2X and Instinct Crossover smartwatches has arrived. The new software follows the release of v13.10 earlier this month, marking the start of a new 13.xx Beta cycle. So far, the watches have received the Morning Report feature, the Gaming activity, a Tides Glance and a Workouts app.
Beta Version 13.15, for all wearables in the Instinct 2 and Instinct Crossover series, addresses various issues with the Gaming activity and brings related improvements. Garmin has also resolved problems in the post-activity summary pages after an Expedition activity. A week before v13.15 arrived, v13.13 was released, fixing an issue that could cause the Instinct 2 and Instinct 2S wearables to crash when accessing various app options from the Indoor Bike activity.
Garmin notes that Beta Version 13.15 will not automatically be delivered to the smartwatches. Instead, customers signed up for the Beta Program must manually load the software, downloading the relevant files from the forum. The company reminds users to ensure their Sensor Hub and GPS files are installed and up to date before proceeding with the rest of the update. If you own a Garmin Instinct 2, Instinct 2S, Instinct 2X or Instinct Crossover smartwatch and wish to join the Beta Program, you can do so via Garmin Connect.
