Garmin has rolled out Beta Version 14.26 to various smartwatches, including the Fenix 7, Fenix 7s and Fenix 7X. The new beta build features 19 changes from Beta Version 14.24, including the return of disabling touch inputs within the swim app.

A new beta update has arrived for various recent Garmin smartwatches. The second beta released this week after Beta Version 13.16 for Instinct 2 series and Crossover smartwatches, Beta Version 14.26 is available for the following smartwatches:

  • Enduro 2
  • Epix 2
  • Epix 2 Pro
  • Fenix 7
  • Fenix 7 Pro
  • Fenix 7S
  • Fenix 7S Pro
  • Fenix 7X
  • Fenix 7X Pro
  • Marq 2
  • Quatix 7

According to Garmin, it will only deliver Beta Version 14.26 if you select 'Check for Updates' on your smartwatch. For reference, you can do so by heading to Menu, System, Software Update and then Check For Updates. Eventually, Garmin hopes to deliver future beta updates in this cycle automatically via GCM and Wi-Fi, although it has not confirmed when this will be the case.

At any rate, Beta Version 14.26 makes 19 changes from its predecessor, Beta Version 14.24. While most of the changes are bug fixes, there are a few new features. Namely, Garmin has introduced a new Marq 2 watch face and has added a link to Garmin Connect Mobile in My Workouts within the Workouts app. Moreover, Beta Version 14.26 re-introduces the option of disabling touch input within the swim app and provides a haptic feedback notification when Wi-Fi synchronisation fails.
