Garmin Venu 2 and Venu 2S receive Beta Version 15.08 update with new bug fixes

Garmin has released Beta Version 15.08 to the Venu 2 and Venu 2S, following the introduction of Beta Version 14.10 over a week ago. For some reason, Garmin has jumped around between build numbers in the last month or so, with Beta Version 15.04 sandwiched between versions 14.07 and 14.10. Subsequently, the company has moved onto Beta Version 15.08, which is available to download now.

According to Garmin, the beta build adds the Gaming activity to both smartwatches. However, this was also the case with Beta Version 15.04. Additionally, the company claims to have introduced various Connect IQ bug fixes and improvements. Unfortunately, it has not provided any other details about these at this stage.

Beta Version 15.08 is rolling out via the Garmin Connect Mobile (GCM) service. As such, it should reach your Venu 2 or Venu 2S automatically. If that is not the case, then you can head to the Main menu, Settings, System and then Software Update to trigger its download. Please see Garmin's forum post for more details.
