Smartwatch leaker @fttest_en has discovered early details about successors to the Venu 2 series. To recap, Garmin brought the Venu 2 series to market over two years ago, with a Venu 2 Plus model arriving in early 2022. Seemingly, the company is putting the finishing touches on the Venu 3 series, with multiple variants planned.
According to the leaker, Volza added references to A04542, a model number that has previously been associated with the Venu 3S. For reference, Garmin appears to have assigned model number A04543 to the regular Venu 3. As the screenshot below shows, the Venu 3S will offer GPS and Wi-Fi connectivity, a feature of many modern smartwatches.
However, the latter's inclusion also implies that Garmin will not offer a dedicated 'Music' variant, such as the Venu Sq 2 Music. Additionally, the listing reveals that the Venu 3S will be available in 'Dust Rose + Soft Gold', likely references to its watch band and case colour. A release date is unknown for now, although @fttest_en speculates that Garmin may choose IFA 2023 to showcase the Venu 3 and Venu 3S, which runs between September 1 and September 5.
